And regional geology which causes Jackson Hole & the Teton Range to exist.
Walk to the top of Snow King Mtn and explore the geology of Jackson Hole with Patrick Starich and John Hebberger (Jr.)!
Meet at the “Wildlife Lane” parking area & trail head along Snow King Avenue (where it crosses Flat Creek) at 4 pm. You do not need to sign up, just be there by 4 pm.
Considerations:
- ~ 1100’ elevation gain
- ~ 1.5 miles each way
- Bring walking shoes, hat, wind breaker, water, snack (?), sunscreen, hiking poles if you use them.
- Please do NOT come if you realistically can not readily do this hike!
- We will cancel only for rain.
