Field Trip to SW Utah, Arizona & Nevada

November 4-13, 2022

  • Arrival day will be Nov 4 in Kanab, UT and departure day will be on Nov 13 from St. George
  • The first five nights and four days will be spent in Kanab, day 6 will be enroute to St. George, and then 3 days and four nights in St. George UT
  • There will be 12 participants on the trip plus two guides
  • The trip will involve hiking most days of 4 miles and 1000’ of elevation gain and often off trail
  • We will be driving on remote, poorly maintained roads involving soft sand and rocks requiring high clearance, true 4WD vehicles
  • There will be two guides on the trip who are experienced on the geology and geography of this area
