What a beautiful day-hike of ~8 miles round trip with a gradual elevation gain and then loss of 2300’. We learned about stromatolites, including their structure, significance, and depositional setting. There were gorgeous flowers and mosquitoes, as well as great views of the west side of the Tetons.
